Popular with our Mackinac Island clientele, Take 1 Video can optionally provide an experienced videographer to follow your carriage on a bicycle, setting up pristine views of the island as you pass by. A fantastic, creative addition to your wedding video that can truly capture both the unspoiled beauty of Mackinac Island as well as the preciousness of this once-in-a-lifetime moment on your wedding day.

Additional Mackinac Island Wedding Fees

Due to the logistics of shooting a wedding video on Mackinac Island, Take 1 Video charges a $200 Mackinac Island fee for each wedding at the time of the retainer. Additionally, should you choose to have Take 1 continue to film your wedding reception late enough into the evening that we are unable to make the last ferry off the Island, we charge an additional $250 Mackinac Island overnight charge. Both of these fees are non-refundable, and due with the retainer at the time that you reserve your date.

Due to high Mackinac Island tourism during the Summer, Take 1 Video requires that we absolutely stop filming one hour prior to the final ferry departure to Mackinaw City from the Island unless prior arrangements have been solidified. Check the major ferry companies operating on Mackinac Island for specific schedule information for your date.
